BSc Nursing course is an undergraduate level professional course. It is designed to develop students Skills and knowledge in health care system. BSc nursing is 4 years regular course which focuses on training students with the essential skill needed for patient care and health care management. BSc Nursing Course: Overview
The eligibility to take admission in the BSc nursing course is that the individual must have passed 12th grade in the science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) subjects. In many colleges, admission to the BSc nursing course relies on class 12th scores; however, there are also several popular entrance exams conducted by various states and universities to fill their BSc nursing seats. Recently, the Uttar Pradesh Government set the criteria that no college or university will admit students to the BSc nursing course based solely on 12th-grade marks, and all seats for the BSc nursing course must now be filled through entrance examinations.
After completing BSc nursing course candidates can pursue higher education as MSc in Nursing and PhD in nursing, also they can go for job profiles as Nursing Officer, Nursing Supervisor, staff nurse and many more. The average salary for a freshly graduated nurse can be between INR 2.5 to 3 LPA, with experience it can be INR 5 to 8 lakh per annum.

BSc Nursing Course Eligibility
The admission to BSc Nursing course is mostly rely on the entrance exams conducted by different universities, but to appear in those exams candidate have to fulfil some criteria as follows;

AIIMS Nursing Exams
All India Institute of medical Sciences conducts Nursing Entrance examination every year in the month of May and June.
The application form releases in the month of March and April every year.

The Eligibility for AIIMS BSc nursing exam
- Candidate must have passed 12th exam from a recognised board in Science with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as compulsory subjects.
- Candidate Must have taken English subject in Intermediate.
Imp. Note: Only Female candidates are Eligible for AIIMS BSc Nursing examination.
Merit will be Created on the basis of score of entrance examination no admission will be preferred Direct without entrance examination.
Eligibility for BSc Nursing Course in UP (Uttar Pradesh)
- Candidate must have passed 12th in Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as the main subject.
- Candidate should have appeared and qualified the UPCNET examination specially conducted for BSc Nursing.
- Candidate must be 17 year old. Both Boys and Girls can apply for UPCNET examination.

Banaras Hindu University offers BSc nursing course for both boys and girls.

The Eligibility to take admission in BHU BSc Nursing Course are-
- Candidate must have passed 12th in Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as main subjects.
- Candidate have to appear in NEET examination and merit for BSc Nursing admission prepared on the basis of NEET score.
- Generally Cut-off for BSc Nursing Course is above 500 marks in NEET exam.
- NEET is medical entrance examination conducted at national level.
- BHU BSc Nursing has the lowest fees structure in Uttar Pradesh.
- RUHS BSc Nursing Course eligibility and admission 2025
- The aspirant should be at least 17 years old.
- Upper age limit for female candidates must not exceeds 28 years and for male candidates it is only 25 years.
- The candidate must have passed 12th examination from a recognised Board in Science stream with PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) as core subjects.
- Candidate must have scored 45% aggregate marks in 12th. It is 40 % for SC and ST categories.
